Pick a car that was in showrooms the day you were born that you want . When you stare down the barrel of a birthday ... divisible by 10, you start to think.

I can’t think of a single vehicle from 1994 that I want off the top of my head.

I’m mostly limited to Autotrader, but the E38 7 Series will always be cool.
Honourable mention to this V12 Merc SL. Wrong colour and stupid wheels, but it’s still cool.

I’ve been in a 928 mood lately so I’ll go with that.
I really want to get a 928 and drive it all winter. Imagine a bright red V8 Porsche with Blizzaks sliding through the snow.

You mean to tell me I have two years to get an old Dodge truck, a Golf wagon, and a Kia Forte?

I wouldn't call a random collection of vehicles success

You also have a dog. That’s pretty good.

I’m 51 at the beginning of next month. I would have said a ‘68 Dodge Charger, but, as I’m getting older, I’m leaning towards the personal luxury coupe. This Buick Riviera hits the spot real nice.
Beautiful, but not flashy.

So I just looked at your pick after I posted mine, geez, I thought I was old. Unfortunately chasing the market for an e-type my whole life, when I was in college they were cheap, but I was in college, actually a couple came up that I could afford, but even as a young kid I figured even if I could afford to buy a clapped out e-type, I couldn’t afford or rely on a clapped out e as my daily transportation.
I could afford an Austin Healey Sprite, and drove one. As I am writing this and reminiscing I remember one day in 1979 or so I was driving my somewhat clapped out ‘66 Sprite and working as a parts runner and shop guy for a European sports car place called Foreign Auto Parts. One day a guy drives up in a much more clapped out early 60s Guilietta, it is rusty, dented, smoking, has an uneven to idle, he wants to t rade me straight up for my Sprite. Once again, I am poor and this is my way to get to work and school. I tap out, good decision at the time...anyway, I like your topic.

If we’re strictly talking about what was available in the US, I guess Eldorado Touring Coupe. Terrible engine, indifferent build quality, but ridiculously comfortable and such a beautiful body.

Well, that narrows things down. You’re somewhere between 83 years old and a fetus.

I briefly owned an ‘84 Mustang GT T-top with a T-5. I’d take it back in a heartbeat. Too bad the AMC Spirit AMX died the year before I was born.

Oh no, I understand that precisely - and unless I miss the mark completely, that’s a late 60s example.

Yes, I’m closing in on 60, but I got carded until I was 34. Do not know what that means ...
